Purpose:

  • Continuously weighing large amounts of bulk materials, controlling the conveyance of predetermined portions with given speed.
  • Separately totalizing max. 15 different materials, printing the totals. Interactive connection with the superior data processing computer or with the control computer.
  • Ensuring consistent mixing rate by controlling more conveyor belt scales.

Construction:

  • Conveyor Belt Weight Totalizer: it processes the signal of the load cell and the belt speed meter, built into the conveyor belt. Displays the conveyed weight, the conveying performance, and if it has been set, reaching the predetermined value, it stops.
  • Feeding Conveyor Belt Scale: beside continuously weighing the materials conveyed on the belt, it controls the weighing according to the technological process. This is done by either changing the speed of the belt or the width of the materials (for example with screw feeder). In this case the feeding have to happen directly before the conveyor belt.
    Recommended use of feeding conveyor belt:

    • Ensuring constant conveying of materials.
    • Ensuring constant conveying of materials and constant mixing ratio with controlling more feeding conveyor belt scale from computer.
    • Ensuring constant conveying of materials in case of varied flow of materials, syncing the feeding conveyor belt’s performance to the conveyor belt weight totalizer’s (controlling from computer).

Titular conveying performance: 10 kg/h ... 9900 t/h
Max. inaccuracy: ± 1 % related to the measured weight, under these conditions:
  • The static inaccuracy of the mechanics < 0,15 %
  • Under the 20% of the titular conveying performance of the scale only operable at the beginning and the end of the weighing, and that can’t be more than 2% of the weighing time.
  • The smallest conveyable amount is the 10% of the conveying performance per hour.
  • Checking the accuracy can be only done with material, beacuse of this, it is necessary to provide material for weighing it before and after it passes through the belt.
  • The quadrant elevation of the belt can’t be more then 20°, and can’t be broken near the weighing section.

Titular conveying performance: 10 kg/h ... 9900 t/h
Setting range: between the 10 - 100 % of the titular conveying performance
Configuration range: the ±33% of the titular load pressing the weighing bridge (this is the compensatory weight fluctuation), calculated from the titular conveying performance
Weighing inaccuracy: max. ±1 % related to the measured weight, between 10-100% of the titular conveying performance, if the flow of materials inside the configuration range loads the scale for at least 10 minutes, and if the mechanics’ static inaccuracy < 0,15 %
Performance keeping: ±2 % related to the conveying perfomance, with the previous conditions.
